Monday, Monday

I don’t think I have ever had a day that felt so much like Monday as today had.

It’s not so much as things are going wrong, it’s more that I’m just running at full speed in a circle. I’ve had 900 major crisis today and I cannot wait for this day to be over. Nothing major, just A LOT of things due… and 2nd edits are coming back on things that I did last week and, and, and… *sigh*
On a lighter note though… Michigan State advanced to the sweet 16!!! They are going to have to put on some kind of special performance on Friday to get past Duke but I think this team has it in them. They have enough experience and Duke is nowhere near as deep as the Spartans. If they can get JJ Reddick in foul trouble then the Blue Devils are done.
Oh, and it has also come to my attention that my cousin Jen has been checking this blog so I thought I’d send a special shout out to her!
HEY JEN!!(It's one of the simple pleasures of blogging... I get to call out my friends and family on the internet)
She’s a silent one, but it’s always nice to know that family is out there :)

Hey Jen!
Always nice to hear from you:)
I can finally relate to the "cube life"... except I could use a bit of bordome. I totally feel like a chicken with it's head cut off running around here. I'm hoping things will calm down once I figure out what is going on. Anways, always nice to hear from ya and keep readin!
Speaking of life in a cubicle...has anyone seen the British show The Office? It is hysterical. The gentleman who plays the obnoxious boss is a comedic genius. They are making an American version of the show. I think it premiers this week. The boss in this version is none other than that guy from The Daily Show (the reporter who randomly sits on people and is generally a pest) I do not foresee this to be a hit over here. I am not sure the subtle British humor will fly. But for anyone trapped in a cubicle, The Office (the brit version) is really, really funny.
I have actually seen the BBC version of "The Office" and can honestly say that I just didn't get it. I only saw an episode and a half so maybe I needed to give it more time, but what I saw was just not funny. That being said, I am looking forward to the NBC version of "The Office". I love that dude from the Daily Show (forget his name). He was the only redeeming part of "The Anchorman" and was great in "Bruce Almighty" as well.
Let's just hope that this isn't "Coupling" redux. Wow the American version of that show was bad.
Yeah, the British version of The Office...I didn't like either until I watched 3 full episodes. We have all the episodes so we can watch them some time. Trust me, it's satirical genius.
